Michael Uphus

Mike is a retired Elementary Educator with thirty-six years’ experience in the State of Washington.  Mike taught for sixteen years as a primary and intermediate teacher.  He then served as an Elementary and Middle School Counselor in the Central Valley School District in the Spokane Valley.

Mike earned a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling as well as a Master’s in Education Administration from Whitworth College.  He was an Elementary Principal for fifteen years in the East Valley (WA) School District and the Post Falls (ID) School District.

He and his wife, Linda, also a former elementary teacher and principal, live at Liberty Lake, WA.  They have three daughters, two of whom are teachers, and have seven grandchildren.
