Joe serves Global Learning and Leadership as a director and as a senior business advisor. His area of emphasis is in the area of career education. As a successful business owner involved in multiple aspects of the economy of Aurora, Illinois, he is devoted to improving the education levels of all students, especially under- served populations. He sees STEM applications and experiences as critical to the advancement . He is well known for his leadership and major accomplishments in the business field.

Joe has a very successful bagel and deli business in Aurora Illinois, including #1 rankings on Yelp, TripAdvisor, and one of the top ten bagel shops in Illinois. Joe is very active in the business and civic life of Aurora, Illinois and extremely generous with his time in supporting education and programs for children.

Joe received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin and his Master of Arts Degree from Benedictine University in Naperville, Illinois.

He is married to Bernadette an elementary school teacher in the Indian Prairie School District, which covers parts of Naperville and Aurora, Illinois. They have two active sons, John and Drew.
