Dr. Henry Robitaille

Dr. Henry Robitaille (Hank) serves Global Learning and Leadership as director and senior advisor for STEM projects for agriculture and natural resources. He is the owner of KoolSci, Inc. which promotes STEM learning with an emphasis on the food and agricultural sciences, and daily news on unique science developments within the U.S. and internationally. Henry served as Assistant Professor at Oklahoma State University, Associate Professor at Purdue University and Adjunct Professorships for University of Arizona and University of Florida. He served the U.S. Agency for International Development as a Team Scientist assisting the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (EMBRAPA) develop advanced technologies, knowledge, and scientific information for the Brazilian agriculture industry.
Mr. Robitaille worked for more than 20 years at the Walt Disney World Company as Director of Epcot Strategic Partnerships and as General Manager for the Epcot Land and Living Seas Pavilions. Henry developed and directed programs for education, environment, and science activities (i.e., STEM entertainment). Currently Henry is the President of R&R Productions, Inc.; Chairman, WASC international, Inc.; and continuing support of higher education as an Adjunct Professorship at Florida Southern College.
Dr. Robitaille received numerous awards including Fellow, American Society for Horticultural Science; Agricultural Science and Heritage Award from the Center for Agricultural Science and Heritage, Indianapolis; Meritorious Communications Award from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers; Tribute of Appreciation for Communicating a Better Understanding of the Environmental Ethic, from the U.S. EPA; Excellence in Agricultural Communications citation from the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture; and Distinguished Alumni Award, Michigan State University College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. His academic achievements include 27 scientific journal publications, 23 presentations at scientific meetings, 20 major scientific conferences organized and managed at Epcot (Science generated convention business for Walt Disney World), 60 presentations to scientific and professional organizations, and as professor for 6 Undergraduate and 5 Graduate courses, and 1 Teacher Certification.
Henry has served on many national advisory boards or committees. Examples include the Florida Solar Energy Center Industry Advisory Board; University of Florida Engineering Advisory Council; Florida Governor’s 2100 Committee; Alliance for Transportation Research, Sandia National Laboratory; World Congress for Horticultural Research, Rome, Italy, Chair, Working Group 3; Delta Chapter, Pi Alpha Xi, Vice President; American Society for Horticultural Science, Vice President Industry Division; and The Center for Agricultural Science and Heritage, Indianapolis
